Have pictures taken of yourself if they can show injuries.
Get names and phone numbers of witnesses.
Contact your motor vehicle insurer.
Do not give a statement to the other party's insurer, but speak to a lawyer first.
Note the time of day and the weather conditions, especially if they had anything to do with the accident.
See your physician and explain that you were injured in a motor vehicle accident.
If your own doctor cannot see you now but you have injuries, go to the emergency room of your local hospital and explain how you were injured.
