Proposed Changes in New Hampshire worker's compensation law:

Currently worker's comp checks are supposed to be mailed out each week - but commonly insurance companies seem to delay or "lose" the checks. The law allows the Labor Commissioner to fine an insurance company which does this. But fines are seldom imposed and these problems are constant. A change in the law is being considered in the Legislature to make fines of insurance companies mandatory, and also to make publicly available data on which insurers are mailing out checks late.
